Our guests (crew) will join Black Diamond around 0900 hours and will be invited on board by our skipper and offered tea and coffee whilst introductions take followed by the mandatory safety brief.
We usually leave Hartlepool around 1000 hours for the start of our journey to the Farnes. The Navigation on route is Souter Light, River Tyne Light, Blyth Light Cocquet Island Light and finally Longstone Light. We will be around 3-5 miles offshore during the passage. Our first stop overnight should be Blyth or Amble Marinas where you can enjoy all the Marina Facilities. We will leave early the following morning en-route to the Farnes. Normally we will go to anchor in the Inner Farne or Holy Island.
During our time at anchor you can either relax on board on dinghy ashore to experience the bird colony. (Please note: The Islands are closed to landing certain times of the year).
Later in the day we will set off to the picturesque port of Amble where full marina facilities are available.
The evening is yours to either relax on Black Diamond or ‘see the sights’ ashore.
The following morning our route will take us past the beautiful Northumbrian coastline and back into Hartlepool Marina around 5pm
