Day Skipper online course:

Course aims:

To provide a good understanding of the concepts and techniques used to safely navigate in inshore coastal waters. This course is strongly recommended for anyone considering the Day Skipper practical course.

Course content:

The Day Skipper Online course covers day and night navigation, chart work and tidal heights. There is an introduction to secondary ports, tidal streams and Course to Steer. Pilotage, passage planning, meteorology and Rules of the Road are also covered.

The Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore course is more in-depth that the above course and is aimed at students who have already completed Day Skipper courses.
